It’s hard to keep up with frequently-changing COVID-19 travel restrictions that often vary wildly from location to location. Here are five apps that can help travelers be prepared for Covid-19-related rules applicable to their trip.
TripIt
TripIt organizes all of your itineraries and travel plans into a master itinerary that’s easy to follow. Its Traveler Resource Center is packed with info on Covid-19 regulations. There you can find out about mask guidelines, cancellation/refund/credit policies, and airline restrictions. The app also provides info on digital health passports, infection rates, and other Covid-19 info for your destination.
Omio
Omio’s Open Travel Index provides the latest COVID-19 travel information, including airline regulations, business closures, mask mandates, and more. You can also use Omio to book flights, buses, trains, and ferries, as well as search for information on specific countries to find out if there are any entry regulations or other COVID-19 guidelines to follow while you are there.
Airsiders Compass
Airsiders Compass recently came out with a Health App that sets out the rules for airlines around the world so you’ll be prepared with the right PPE and documentation necessary to fly.
