Airlines are toughening up their policies on mask-wearing by passengers. Are these carriers taking it one step too far?
I’ve seen masks on people, pets, cars…and now planes.
Check out this Boeing 737-800 from the Russian airline Pobeda:
And this United jet:
This Cargolux Boeing 747-8 sports a mask along with “Not Without My Mask” written below the carrier’s name. (I like the way the mask hooks around the C in the Cargolux name.)
You can track the plane here to see if it’s coming to an airport near you. Expect it to be at least six feet away from other planes.
(And yes, the proper way for an airplane to wear a mask would be over its engine intakes. But that would make flying a bit difficult.)
