I know I’m in the minority, but I like bagpipes. I’m a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers (“The Most Famous Bagpipe Band on the Planet”) as much as their Pepper cousins.
When I wandered into the bagpipe shop, Husband looked uncomfortable.
When I started talking to a salesperson, he looked concerned.
When I asked about lessons via Skype, he looked worried.
When I said sure, I’d like to try out a set of pipes, he performed an intervention. Before I knew it, I was without my wallet and out on the sidewalk.
Some people just don’t appreciate musical genius in the making.
