This seat cover will make your next flight more sanitary and comfortable.

I’ve written about flying as a (mild) germaphobe, including an easy airplane seat-cleaning routine and a few other ideas that may help keep you healthy on your next flight.

One of the ideas was covering the whole seat with a reusable or disposable seat cover. They were a pass for me—I’m only a mild germaphobe—but this new product may change my mind: NiceSeats airplane seat cover.

Unlike the other seat covers I checked out, NiceSeat is made of super-soft and smooth cotton sateen (with a little Spandex, so it’s easy to install), which means it feels like your favorite set of sheets and  you just throw it in the washer and dryer when you get home.

It comes with its own small carrying pouch, which doubles as a seat storage pocket while in use.

The basic model fits all domestic airline seats—economy, business, and first—without blocking seat-back video. It fits bus, train, and movie theater seats, too, and there’s an international model for lie-flat business and first-class seats.

NiceSeats comes in a variety of prints and colors, including blue-and-white brush strokes, red chevron, gold/burgundy/navy stripes, blush trimmed with brown, and blush trimmed with pink, along with solid purple, champagne, navy, and black.

Easy to put on, quick to take off, sanitary, and comfortable—NiceSeat may be something you’ll want to keep using post-pandemic.

Twist’s Take: This reusable airplane seat cover will make your next trip more sanitary and comfortable.
