Making a road trip interesting can be work. How can you find the fun things to see and do in places you’ve never been to? Enter Make My Drive Fun. The browser-based interactive app highlights interesting sights, landmarks, and oddities to see while driving from one place to another.
It’s super-simple to use. You’ll see two text boxes in the upper right corner when you visit the site. Type your departure point in the From field and your destination in the To field. Instantly, a red line will appear on the map, connecting your starting location to your final stop.
Map markers indicate local wonders, small-town novelties, and tons of other stuff you won’t find on any high-end travel site. We’re talking about the real deal: Classic roadside stops, specialty museums, and other cultural treasures await.
For details on an attraction, scroll in on the map and click on the pinned location. A description of the attraction will appear on the map, giving insight into what you’ll see if you stop there.
No stop is more than 20 minutes off the main route, so you can still make good time while having a good time.
